Over the past five months, Steve Shapiro and Louis Malzone have been working with Robert Gilman who is a council member for the City of Langley to set up a clone of the Langley Community Forum. The purpose of the forum is to provide a Website open to all members of the Freeland Community to work on or discuss issues concerning Freeland. The report summarizes a demonstration meeting held to start letting community leaders know about the forum. The forum should be going live within the next month. On November 3rd, Mike Dolan attended the one day"Downtown Revitalization" Conference held in Monroe. Hosted by Community Trade and Economic Development (CTED), the purpose of the conference was to help answer the question "How do we get a comprehensive downtown revitalization program up and running?"
